What Comes Next

Beyond the Letters: Life After the Degree

College ends, everyone asks what's next, and somehow you're expected to have an answer.

Careers, money, relationships, housing, independence, long-term plans. Suddenly, you're supposed to know how all of it works. This group makes room to talk about the messy transition from college into adult life, alongside other people figuring it out.

What this stage of life can actually look like

You might have a job and still feel unsure about your direction. You might be back in your childhood bedroom, missing the friends who used to live down the hall, or watching everyone's announcements online and wondering whether you're behind.

Maybe adulthood looks different from what you pictured. That doesn't mean you're doing it wrong. There are a lot of things about this stage that nobody really prepares you for.

Topics the group may explore

Work, money, and independence

Finding a first or better job, career uncertainty, adjusting to full-time work, financial pressure, housing, moving home, and living with parents as an adult.

People, belonging, and everyday life

Making friends after graduation, dating, changing relationships and family dynamics, losing the built-in social structure of college, and building routines without semesters.

Expectations and what you actually want

Identity outside academics, social-media comparison, feeling behind peers, marriage and career pressure, financial milestones, and separating your own goals from what you think you're supposed to want.

Who the group is for

Recent college graduates and people several years out of school who still feel unsettled. People navigating career or identity shifts, adjusting to living at home again, comparing themselves to peers, or trying to work out what they want next.

You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to have something to talk about. You also don't need a clear plan. The group is for adults 18+ navigating life after college.

Room for more than a career plan

Work is part of the conversation, alongside relationships, identity, independence, and expectations. This is a developmental transition group, with space for connection and shared perspective.

This is peer support, not group therapy, individual treatment, career coaching, or crisis care. Joining does not establish a therapist-client relationship. Privacy expectations will be discussed before enrollment; confidentiality among participants cannot be guaranteed.
